Red / burgundy cover with black cloth spine, intentionally distressed and worn for a vintage primitive look. Front cover has a vintage-style apothecary label "EXTRACT OF LIME JUICE & GLYCERINE for the HAIR - Prepare par la Parfumerie Compagnie Nationale PARIS" held on with 4 brass-tone tacks. Sides have a faux old handwritten manuscript paper design to look like aged pages. Inside is lined in dark brown/black paper/fabric.
Distressed finish is intentional - it's made to look old and chippy. No real damage. Clean inside. From my vintage collection.
